From Hosanna to the Cross: An Interactive Palm Sunday
March 29 | 9:30 AM | Tri-County Christian Church
Most Palm Sunday services start with a parade and end with a song. This year, we invite you to something deeper. At Tri-County, your palm branch isn't just a prop—it’s your prayer. Join us for an immersive journey through the Triumphal Entry into the shadow of the Passion.
Three Moments of the Journey
I. The Entry: Palms of Expectation
As you enter, you’ll receive a palm and a small slip of paper. During our opening worship, we invite you to write down a burden, a hope, or a prayer you are "laying at the feet of Jesus." By tucking your petition into your palm, the branch becomes a living representation of your personal walk with Christ.
II. The Proclamation: The Echo Narrative
Experience the story of Holy Week like never before. Through a responsive reading, our congregation will become the "Crowd" of praise and the "Watchers" of prophecy. We will feel the tension between the shouts of "Hosanna!" and the whispered promises of the Suffering Servant.
III. The Takeaway: The Folded Cross
Before we depart, we will pause for a guided reflection. We’ll show you how to fold your palm branch into a simple cross. It’s a physical reminder of the day’s message: What began as a branch of celebration is now the shape of our salvation.
"Will you join the journey?"
